Isaiah 5:20-23
20 Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil;
Who put darkness for light, and light for darkness;
Who put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!
21 Woe to those who are wise in their own eyes,
And prudent in their own sight!
22 Woe to men mighty at drinking wine,
Woe to men valiant for mixing intoxicating drink,
23 Who justify the wicked for a bribe,
And take away justice from the righteous man!
Isaiah, directed by the Spirit of God, spoke this indictment over Judah for their turning away from God's Holy, truthful word. Woe, bearing the meaning of God's Holy wrath poured out for those who have embraced the deceitfulness of that day and the ensuing insanity that follows.
In the Truth Project study we will dive deep into God's Word to clearly define what is faithful and true (what is really real).
We hope you will join us in this study as we look to God's Word to open our eyes to see clearly and to have our hearts and minds receptive to the Truth.
